Conclusion de la Réunion du Conseil Pastoral tenue le Jeudi dernier, avec pour ordre du Jour, la préparation et l'organisation du Culte d'action de grâce pour l'intronisation du Révérend Pasteur Emmanuel Oschoffa.

A cet effet, c'est le Supérieur Evangéliste Oshin qui a été nommé comme président d'organisation.

RE PASTOR’S THANKSGIVING SERVICE

We give all the glory to God Almighty for another era of fulfillment in the history of Celestial Church of Christ. Acting under the dictate of the Holy Spirit and in accordance with the provision of the 1980 constitution of the Church which was amended by the Church, and approved in the year 2000 by the Corporate Affairs Commission, the Pastor-in-Council, on 25^th December 2003 named and proclaimed Reverend Emmanuel Oshoffa Pastor and Head of Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide. Until his recent appointment, he was head of the diocese of France of the Church.

At the Pastor-in-Council meeting held yesterday 23^rd January 03 a Pastor’s Thanksgiving Service Committee was set up. The Thanksgiving Service which has been fixed for 23^rd February 2003 at Celestial City Imeko for the Pastor would also mark the beginning of Year 2003 Workers Annual Retreat.

It was estimated that the Thanksgiving Service would cost the Church substantial amount of fund. It was in the light of this that the following levy per territory was agreed.

United Kingdom of N. Ireland - £5000 (Five thousand pound sterling)

European Countries – Euro 5000 (Five thousand euro)

United State of America - $ 10,000 (One hundred thousand US Dollars)

Côte d’Ivoire – N100,000 (One hundred thousand naira equivalent)

Togo and West African Countries – N50,000 (Fifty thousand naira equivalent)

Nigeria - N2m (Two Million Naira)

This levy is expected to be delivered in Ketu Lagos latest on February 15, 2003, a week before the event. We count on your kind regards and cooperation from time to time.

Face à l'erreur qui s'est glissée en lieu et place du Diocèse de France, le Pasteur Oschoffa ayant été informé, demanda de rectifier en mettant plutôt: France Board of Trustees.

Ces instructions ont été données au Senior Evangéliste Germain qui m'a rejoint à Cotonou pour la-dite modification. Le reste demeure inchangé.

Donc, lors de la rédaction de ce document, on a généralisé tout le monde. Vous verrez d’ailleurs que moi aussi j'ai été confondu au Chef de Diocèse du Gabon alors que je suis Représentant du Pastoral de l'Eglise du Christianisme Céleste au Gabon, le Chef de Diocèse du Gabon est le Senior Evangéliste IKAPI Pascal; ce sont des erreurs qui se sont souvent glissées même dans des programmes officiels. Je ne peux pas profiter de cette erreur pour accepter cela alors que ma lettre de créance accompagnée de mon serment, signée du Pasteur Bada, stipule que je suis le Représentant du Pasteur au Gabon; et la Constitution Bleue stipule que seul une autre lettre de créance Pastorale vient annuler la précédente.

Si vous voyez bien le Document, c'est le Supérieur Evangéliste Oshin qui en est le signataire, en tant que Président du Comité d'Organisation du Culte d'Action de Grâce pour l'Intronisation du Pasteur Oschoffa.

Par conséquent, vous conviendrez avec moi que seul le Pasteur Mondial peut nommer un Chef de Diocèse, …….un document de surcroît signé par un Supérieur Evangéliste n'a pas valeur de nomination ni de confirmation. …… Notre Eglise a besoin des personnes qui comprennent très bien nos Institutions, la Constitution Bleue et le Saint Esprit….
